We’ve recently started working on a stealth project for the Gametiime running community. While still aiming to give people a better way to live out their running journey in a more socially-connected and meaningful way, this project was built to do so in a different manner than the social race directory we’ve built to empower people to find and save races around the US.
Our hunch told us runners needed it so we quickly got to work.
In just a few weeks, we launched our first virtual run. We called it the Pi Day 5K, in playful celebration of the mathematical number and scheduled for (most appropriately) 3/14/15.
We’ve heard so many things about the many color run races happening these days, we just had to try one out ourselves!

As many of you know, we love to chat on Twitter (@gogametiime) and meet new runners around the area. Over the past months, we’ve met some amazing people through the power of the Twittersphere and this weekend is special. Why? Because many of those we follow and tweet with on a daily basis will be running in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Marathon & Half Marathon.
With that, we wanted to give a BIG shout out to everyone running and wish you all a great race tomorrow. In no particular order, here’s a list of those of you we know are running.

GAMETIIME COMMUNITY: ROCK ‘N’ ROCK SEATTLE ROCKSTARS!!
We headed over to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Seattle Expo today at CenturyLink Event Center and had a blast! As you’d expect, there were tons of great running-related brands in the house. We captured a lot of the action in our photo album from the event.
The star brand of the day: Brooks Running, which featured its traveling circus-themed “The Brooks Run Happy Cavalcade of Curiosities” and wide selection of gear branded specially for Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle — shirts, socks, headbands… you name it and they had it.
Congrats to all the finishers of this year’s 36th Annual Shore Run/Walk at Seward Park! The race had over 3,000 participants and helped to raise $65,000 for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center this year!

Congrats to all the finishers of this year’s 20th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Seattle Center! Thousands came out on a beautiful June morning to show their support in the first again breast cancer.
